OUTSIDE VISITS
Special Events trips usually take place over 3-4 nights and visit an area of the UK which is impractical to visit in a day trip. We normally go by coach and base ourselves in a carefully chosen, high quality hotel. We then have a full programme visiting sites in the area. These trips usually take place in May. For insurance reason these are organised through a UK bonded travel company. In 2008 we visited Norfolk, in 2009 the Lake District and in September 2010 we went to Edinburgh by train. In May 2011 we visited the riches of Derbyshire.
We also organise overseas trips. In 2006 we had very successful visits to Lisbon and Chartres and in 2007 we visited Rome; 2008's visit was to Paris, 2009’s to Holland. And this season we are going to Berlin. As with our UK trips all of these overseas visits are organised through a bonded travel agent.
